    Rooftopsskyscrapers

Write each height once in every row and column. An edge number counts the buildings you can see from there; taller ones hide shorter ones.

  • 1234567

    Wayfoldnumber path

Draw one path from 1 through every tile, passing the numbers in order. Move up, down, left or right, never through a thick wall.

  • 2223334231

    Parcelsshikaku

Divide the grid into rectangles. Each holds exactly one number, and the number is its size in tiles.

  • 210211121111

    Campfiretents

Put one tent next to every tree, above, below or beside it. Tents never touch, not even at a corner, and the numbers count the tents in each row and column.

    Lassoslitherlink

Draw one closed loop along the dots. A number counts how many of its four sides the loop uses. The loop never crosses or branches.

For kids and classrooms

Start with Parcels, Campfire, Wayfold and Rooftops: each rule fits in one sentence, and the smallest boards take five to ten minutes. Parcels practices multiplication, Rooftops counting and comparing.

Choose two per page for younger children, so the boards are bigger and easier to write on. Every sheet has a line for a name, and the answers sit on separate pages, so you can keep them back.

For teachers

For adults

For a real challenge, print the 12 hardest from Lasso (Slitherlink), Starlit (Star Battle) or Shadeout (Hitori). They are as tough as our weekend boards, and each one is solved by a few long chains of reasoning, never by a guess.

In the print dialog, choose A4 or Letter and turn off the browser's own headers and footers. Every sheet already carries the date and our address.

Questions

Can I copy these for my class or club?

Yes. Print and photocopy as many as you like for your home, classroom, library or puzzle club, free of charge. Please keep the logicsnack.com line on each page, and don't sell the sheets.

Where are the answers?

On the last pages of each pack, numbered like the puzzles, 12 to a page. If you want to solve first, print the puzzle pages only: the print dialog lets you choose pages.

A4 or Letter?

Both. The sheets are sized to fit either paper, so you only choose it in the print dialog. Two puzzles per page gives bigger boards for young solvers; four saves paper.

Is there a PDF to download?

There's no file to download. Press Print and your browser lays out the pages. To keep a PDF, pick "Save as PDF" as the printer in the same dialog.

How often are there new puzzles to print?

Every day at midnight, each game gets a new daily puzzle, and its printable page always holds the last seven days. The practice packs and this sampler stay the same.
