Printable Skyscrapers puzzles
Rooftops is our daily Skyscrapers puzzle: a small Latin square with view clues around the edge. Write the heights in pencil, from 1 for the lowest building up to the size of the board.
In the print dialog, choose A4 or Letter and turn off the browser's own headers and footers. Every sheet already carries the date and our address.
The last seven days
Today's puzzle and the six before it, the same boards everyone plays online. The answers follow, except today's.

The 12 easiest Rooftops practice puzzles, then the 12 hardest, with all the answers on the last pages. The pack doesn't change, so you can print it again for the next class.

Write each height once in every row and column. An edge number counts the buildings you can see from there; taller ones hide shorter ones.
Fill every tile with a building. On a 5×5 board the heights go from 1, the lowest, to 5, the tallest.
Each row and each column has every height exactly once, like a small sudoku without boxes.
A clue on the edge counts the rooftops you see when you look into that row or column from there.
Taller buildings hide shorter ones. A building is visible only if it is taller than every building in front of it. A row of 2, 1, 4, 3 shows two rooftops from the left (the 2 and the 4) and two from the right (the 3 and the 4).
Every puzzle has exactly one answer, and you can always reach it by logic alone.
Solving on paper
A 1 on the edge means the tallest building stands right next to it. A clue as big as the board means the heights climb 1, 2, 3 in order. Pencil small candidates in the corner of a tile.
Questions
Can I copy these for my class or club?
Yes. Print and photocopy as many as you like for your home, classroom, library or puzzle club, free of charge. Please keep the logicsnack.com line on each page, and don't sell the sheets.
Where are the answers?
On the last pages of each pack, numbered like the puzzles, 12 to a page. If you want to solve first, print the puzzle pages only: the print dialog lets you choose pages.
A4 or Letter?
Both. The sheets are sized to fit either paper, so you only choose it in the print dialog. Two puzzles per page gives bigger boards for young solvers; four saves paper.
Is there a PDF to download?
There's no file to download. Press Print and your browser lays out the pages. To keep a PDF, pick "Save as PDF" as the printer in the same dialog.
How often are there new Rooftops puzzles to print?
Every day. Rooftops gets a new daily puzzle at midnight, so the sheets for the last seven days change each morning. The practice pack stays the same.
