The rules

Fill every empty square with a number from 1 to 9.
Each row has every number exactly once. Nine squares, nine numbers, no repeats.
Each column has every number exactly once, top to bottom.
Each box has every number exactly once. The thick lines split the grid into nine 3×3 boxes.

Every puzzle has exactly one answer, and you can always reach it by logic alone.

Solving on paper

Write numbers you are sure of in pen and options in small pencil marks in the corner of a square. Start with the number that is already on the board most often.

Questions

Which level should I print?

Easy if you are new to sudoku or printing for children: they need only scanning. Medium for regular players. Hard for a long sit with a pencil: they need notes and at least one advanced pattern.

Can I copy these for my class or club?

Yes. Print and photocopy as many as you like for your home, classroom, library or puzzle club, free of charge. Please keep the logicsnack.com line on each page, and don't sell the sheets.

Where are the answers?

On the last pages of each pack, numbered like the puzzles, 12 to a page. If you want to solve first, print the puzzle pages only: the print dialog lets you choose pages.

A4 or Letter?

Both. The sheets are sized to fit either paper, so you only choose it in the print dialog. Two puzzles per page gives bigger boards for young solvers; four saves paper.

Is there a PDF to download?

There's no file to download. Press Print and your browser lays out the pages. To keep a PDF, pick "Save as PDF" as the printer in the same dialog.

How often are there new Sudoku puzzles to print?

Every day. Sudoku gets a new daily puzzle at midnight, so the sheets for the last seven days change each morning. The practice pack stays the same.
